Everything is free now.

In my sleepy daze I am here to write to everyone about my cd release show. I am playing with my friends Matt, Casey, and Jake, respectively. You may know them as Matt Bauer, Casey Dienel, and Jake Estner. Pretty much they are some of my most favorite musicians and I'm honored to have them play with me. It has been a rough past couple of weeks, sleep and rest wise. I keep trying to sneak naps but they never seem to make it in.

"Yo Comprendo" is being printed right now.

Went to Connecticut on Tuesday to look at a studio for future recording. I sang some harmonies on my friend Alex's songs and played a wurlitzer that I fell mostly in love with, now on a search for find one of my own. They sound beautiful and I had never played one before. There was a Baldwin baby grand in the living room, with a few keys out and it reminded me slightly of the piano at the Estate. It was good to be surrounded by trees for a few hours. There's no shower there, but there is a creek.

I keep making long lists of new songs. It's good.

I am learning guitar. Next on my list: banjo. wurlitzer. Possibly accordion. My dad thinks I should learn to play the pedal steel, but I'm not really sure why. I think it's really difficult. Dobro? Tomorrow is Easter and we're making a waffle feast. Mimomas. I'm also switching houses, painting, spring cleaning, and hopefully losing one of my jobs.

Uh, blogs are weird, I do not really know what to write about anymore.

Come to my show! It's at TT the Bears on Tuesday, April 17th. Doors are at 8:30, $7, I play last but you should come for the whole thing, because you just should, because why not, because you love good, honest music.
