Everything is free now. Labels: cd release, shows
"Yo Comprendo" is being printed right now.
Went to Connecticut on Tuesday to look at a studio for future recording. I sang some harmonies on my friend Alex's songs and played a wurlitzer that I fell mostly in love with, now on a search for find one of my own. They sound beautiful and I had never played one before. There was a Baldwin baby grand in the living room, with a few keys out and it reminded me slightly of the piano at the Estate. It was good to be surrounded by trees for a few hours. There's no shower there, but there is a creek.
I keep making long lists of new songs. It's good.
I am learning guitar. Next on my list: banjo. wurlitzer. Possibly accordion. My dad thinks I should learn to play the pedal steel, but I'm not really sure why. I think it's really difficult. Dobro? Tomorrow is Easter and we're making a waffle feast. Mimomas. I'm also switching houses, painting, spring cleaning, and hopefully losing one of my jobs.
Uh, blogs are weird, I do not really know what to write about anymore.
Come to my show! It's at TT the Bears on Tuesday, April 17th. Doors are at 8:30, $7, I play last but you should come for the whole thing, because you just should, because why not, because you love good, honest music.
